The Red Cross is already playing a big role in Boston, and organizers in Wisconsin say they're ready if needed.
Red Cross officials in our state tell Newsline 9 they
haven't been called on yet. They say the organization already has strong
departments in Boston.
Red Cross leaders in Wisconsin
say they could head east whenever necessary.
"We are there to support the victims, and the first
responders and families as well. So, dependent upon how vast our need is, will
determine how many additional resources roll into the Boston area," said Wisconsin Red Cross
Spokesperson Barbara Behling.
The Red Cross also has a website to help locate family and
friends who may have been in the Boston
area when these bombings happened.
