WAUPACA (WAOW) - Waupaca County Emergency Government says water in the Wolf River is starting to rise.
The agency Tuesday declared a flood emergency for the Wolf River downstream from New London.
Director Andrew Carlin said the declaration means people with boats in the river must operate them slow enough so they do not create waves in the flood emergency area.
The restrictions will remain until the water recedes to a non-threatening level, Carlin said in a statement.
Chance of a shower or T-storm Sunday, otherwise the weekend forecast is looking good.
