Benefit held for boy injured in Wausau crash

Organizers say more than 200 people headed to Dale's Weston Lanes Saturday night to help support four-year-old Jordan Dixon.

He was critically injured in a car crash last month on Wausau's Thomas Street Bridge.

Jordan's father, Michael, was killed in the crash.

At the benefit, there was a raffle, live music and food. Money raised by the event will help cover Jordan's medical bills.

His mother told Newsline 9 the four-year-old is recovering and doing well.

"It means the world to me. It keeps me going in order to keep him going so, it's awesome," said Natalie Fletcher, Jordan's mother.

The event wrapped up at 10 p.m.
