ROTHSCHILD (WAOW) - Rothschild police say a 25-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for intoxicated driving following an early-morning, two-car crash that injured him and two other people.
Capt. Jeremy Hunt said the man was arrested for operating while intoxicated involving illegal narcotics. He was treated and released at a hospital after the crash, Hunt said.
The crash happened about 7:30 a.m. on Business 51 when the car driven by the man crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle occupied by a 22-year-old woman and her two-year-old, who suffered minor injuries, Hunt said.
A two-car crash in Rothschild left 3 people injured Tuesday morning.
According to Captain Jeremy Hunt with the Rothschild Police Department, the two vehicles collided on Business 51, near the Everest Drive intersection, at approximately 7:20 a.m.
Hunt says a male, 25, was driving southbound when his vehicle crossed the center line. His vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle occupied by woman, 22, and her son, 2.
The passengers were each transported to Aspirus Wausau. Captain Hunt says the driver of the southbound vehicle sustained serious injuries, while the passengers in the northbound vehicle sustained minor injuries.
