Marshfield middle school students show off artwork

Posted:

Middle school students in Marshfield are showing off their art work at the public library.

The Past, Present, and Future exhibit displays students art about Marshfield through various time periods.

More than 75 creative drawings of all kinds are covering a south portion of the library.

Organizers say this type of public expression is important for the student's artistic growth.

"It's important because the arts teach things that you can't learn any other way, and it teaches them to be a member of the community, a part of the community and it also shows their perspective."

The art work will be on display through May 23.
