PORTAGE COUNTY (WAOW) -

UPDATE: Portage County Sheriff's officials say a car rolled over on Highway 34 just after 4:00 p.m. Sunday near the Town of Rudolph. They say at least one person was injured.

Officials say the crash happened near Thilo Lane.

A Portage County Sheriff's Patrol Sergeant told Newsline 9 a 16-year-old driver was traveling southbound, well over the speed limit, with his 10-year-old brother in the passenger seat.

Authorities say witnesses saw the vehicle roll several times after the driver tried to pass other cars on the highway.

Officials say neither the driver or passenger were wearing seatbelts.

Portage County Sheriff's officials say one person was airlifted to St. Joseph's Marshfield, while the other was taken there by ambulance.

A Patrol Sergeant says both the driver and passenger are expected to be OK.
