UPDATE: Nekoosa High evacuated, no bomb found

NEKOOSA (WAOW) - Students at Nekoosa High School were evacuated for about two hours Monday following a bomb threat discovered in a bathroom stall, authorities said.

Supt. Perry Whitmore said the building was searched, nothing was found and students returned to classes about 12:45 p.m.

The threat was written on a toilet stall in the men's bathroom, Whitmore said.

"It was something to the effect this building is going to blow up," the superintendent said.

He said investigators had no leads on who wrote it or when it was written.

About 420 students attend classes at Nekoosa High School, the school district said.
