Marshfield residents biking around town for rewards

Posted:

People in Marshfield are getting rewarded for riding a bike.

Local businesses are giving out discounts and other free items to riders.

Organizers say this program is designed to promote healthier lifestyles.

"Sometimes it's hard for families to do family fun stuff together so this could be a way to actually participate in a physical activity together," said Kayleen Moll, Organizer for the Bicycle Discount Program.

Riders must show their program punch cards and helmets to participating businesses to receive the rewards.

The program runs from June 1st through August 31st.
