Rain shortens opening day for Wisconsin Woodchucks

The weather put a damper on opening night for the Wisconsin Woodchucks.

They only played three innings against the Green Bay Bullfrogs before storms forced the game into a rain delay for about 90 minutes.

Fans we spoke with at the game weren't happy about that.

"This weather is sort of not good for an opening night of the Woodchucks, it's hurt the crowd, it's hurt the morale here, and it's not good," said John McAuley, a fan at the game.

"I guess it kind of dampens the opening day experience a little bit, last year was a really good season, and this isn't the best start to a new season,  some of the players are probably disappointed because they put in a lot of practice time for this," said Nicole Anderson, a fan at the game.

Officals say the game has been postponed and

will be completed on June 11th.
