The storm is being blamed for a number of problems across central Wisconsin.
In Wausau, power crews closed part of Mcintosh St. after branches downed power lines. Crews estimate it will take several hours to clean up the mess.
The storm also downed trees across the area.
Authorities are investigating a semi rollover in Portage County.
Plover fire officials say the semi driver was taken to the hospital after the crash on Highway 54 near County Highway EE.
Investigators say the trailer was empty. They say the driver was traveling 10-20 miles per hour when strong winds caused the trailer to tip over, taking the tractor with it as well.
Officials say the driver was taken to a nearby hospital, but there was no word on his condition Thursday night.
