Frost advisory active for northern Wisconsin early Monday

Posted:

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for most of northern Wisconsin between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Monday.

The advisory includes Lincoln, Langlade, Oneida, Vilas, Forest, Florence, northern Marinette, Price, Ashland and Iron Counties.

Additional counties in northwest Wisconsin are also included with the advisory.

A frost advisory is issued when frost is expected, as overnight low temperatures dip near the freezing mark.

People in locations under the advisory should mind frost-sensitive vegetation by taking precautions to protect plants from potentially harmful temperatures.
