The SPASH boys golf team finished the first day of the State Golf Tournament tied for seventh with Beloit Memorial High School while Cedarburg currently sits at the top of the team standings.
Senior Trevor Thomas had the best score for the Panthers, finishing the round four strokes over par with a 76. Thomas shot an eagle on hole 2 before making bogeys on five holes and shooting a double bogey on hole 13. He is tied for 19th in the individual standings.
Trevor's brother, Taylor Thomas, is seven over par and is tied for 35th place.
James McDonald is tied for 60th place after shooting an 82 in the first round while his brother Christian is tied for 63rd.
Tyler Morgan sits outside of the Top 100 in 102nd place after shooting a 94.
Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's lone golfer, Joe Benbow, is also tied for 35th place with Taylor Thomas. The golfers in Division 1 will tee-off in the final round of the state tournament at noon on Tuesday.
