Student accused in Nekoosa HS threat sentenced to jail

A Nekoosa High School student has been sentenced to 90-days in jail, after police say he threatened to bring a gun to school.

Steven Dzieglewicz, 18, pleaded no contest last month to disorderly conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, Nekoosa Police say Dzieglewicz used Facebook to tell another student that he had a gun in the school. The school was locked down on March 11 and all students were dismissed. Police say no weapon was found.

Court records show Dzieglewicz told the other student, "I told you I have a way to kill everyone," and "I wanna end it all." Officers say when Dzieglewicz was interviewed, he said he did not have a weapon and did not bring one to school.

Dzieglewicz was ordered to 90-days in Wood County jail, with huber privileges, which allows him to leave the jail for school and counseling.
