WAUSAU (WAOW) - A judge has ordered a Weston teenager to spend two years in prison for an attack and robbery of a man lured to a mobile home with a promise of sex nearly two years ago.
Cody Kuehl, 19, pleaded no contest Wednesday to armed robbery with the use of force in a plea bargain in which two other felonies and two misdemeanors were dismissed, according to online court records.
Kuehl was one of five people, mostly teenagers, arrested in the 2011 attack, authorities said. A 27-year-old woman was among those arrested.
Marathon County Circuit Judge Jill Falstad sentenced Kuehl to two years in prison and five years of extended supervision. Kuehl was given credit for 546 days he has spent in the Marathon County Jail, meaning he must serve about six months in prison, court records said.
Police said the man beaten went to a home at Green Acres Mobile Home Park and four masked men jumped him, beat him with a pistol and took some money. As the attack occurred, a police officer came to the door on another matter, authorities said.
