Three sent to hospital after Rothschild crash

Three people went to the hospital after a crash in Rothschild Friday evening.

According to Rothschild Police Sgt. Brad Johnson, a vehicle traveling southbound on East Grand Avenue didn't yield the right of way and turned left into traffic, getting hit by a car traveling northbound.

This happened just after 6:00 p.m. Friday.

Johnson said one adult and two children in the northbound vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. All of them have been released.

The driver of the southbound car, who refused medical treatment, was cited for failure to yield right of way, Johnson said.

No one else was hurt. Traffic in the area was delayed while crews cleaned up the mess.
