More troubling news for Brewers fans. Not only is the team sitting last in the division, star outfielder Ryan Braun could be in some serious trouble.
Braun, and 20 other MLB players, are under investigation, accused of taking performance enhancing drugs.
"You'd think that he was cleared of it," said Jim Farrell. "But then when this happens again, it's hard to say. You're always rooting for him to be clean."
The accusations stem from a Miami bio clinic.
Major League Baseball officials may pursue a 100-game suspension against the Brewers outfielder if the allegations stand.
Despite all that fans are still showing their support. At Packerland Plus in Wausau, a store employee says customers are still eager to purchase Braun's jersey.
"Ryan Braun is still the top person people look for to buy," said Ken Boho, store employee. "With all the trouble he's going through right now, he's still the most requested person."
And Brewers fans across the state are still supporting the outfielder. Dozens flocked to an autograph session near Milwaukee on Saturday.
"He's our guy, stick with him, stick with the team through all this," said Nick Delo.
Braun's fans say they're not going anywhere, and hope the allegations aren't true.
