Green Bay statue to be dedicated to Donald Driver

A statue outside a Green Bay brewery will soon be dedicated to a Packers favorite. In just a few days, a generic receiver statue will become the receiver, Donald Driver.

The piece sits in front of Titletown Brewing Company, near downtown Green Bay. On Saturday, a ceremony will dedicate it to number 80, just months after his retirement.

The brewery's president says he couldn't be happier to pay tribute to Driver.

"He was just a class act kind of guy, the Dancing with the Stars thing did not hurt at all, that infectious smile and just a genuinely good person," said Titletown Brewing Company President Brent Weycker.

The statue weighs 5,700 pounds and sits at close to 30 feet tall. Titletown Brewing Company owners say Donald Driver will be at the dedication this weekend.
