MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Madison police believe a couple shot in their home were targeted.
A 25-year-old woman was killed and her 34-year-old husband was wounded in their duplex Wednesday night.
Police say at least two of the three young children at home witnessed the shooting. The children were not hurt.
Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain tells the Wisconsin State Journal the husband is not cooperating with detectives.
The husband suffered numerous gunshot wounds, but police expect he will survive.
Names of the victims were not released. Police have not released the names of any suspects.
