Police have conducted a series of early morning raids targeting a gang that operates at an apartment complex that is linked to a video purportedly showing the mayor of Toronto smoking crack cocaine.
Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair said Thursday that 43 arrests have been made. Police seized 40 guns, $3 million worth of drugs and $570,000 cash.
Targets included a building where an alleged video that appeared to show Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack was reported to be located.
Blair refused to comment on any evidence seized, saying it will come out in court.
Ford says the video does not exist. The Toronto Star reported two journalists viewed the video outside the apartment.
The video has not been released publicly, and its authenticity has not been verified.
It was a successful weekend hunt for numerous area kids who bagged their very first deer.
