Mosinee man accused of selling heroin charged in court

The man accused of selling heroIn that contributed to a deadly Wausau crash was charged in court Friday.

Investigators say 22-year-old Kyle Kennedy sold the drugs at a gas station about 10 minutes before the crash.

That crash happened back in March. Michael Dixon, 24, was killed. Investigators say he had heroin in his system.

Dixon's 4-year-old son, Jordan, was in the car and was seriously injured, but has been released from the hospital.

Kennedy's attorney declined to comment.

Kennedy is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.

He's scheduled to appear in court on June 24.
