E. coli bacteria closes Clark County beach

NEILLSVILLE (WAOW) – Clark County health officials say recent rains have boosted bacteria at the Snyder Park beach and it is closed for swimming.

Routine water samples indicated high levels of E.coli bacteria, triggering Wednesday's decision to close the swimming areas until the water samples improve, the officials said.

The beach along Snyder Lake is in Snyder County Park located about seven miles west of Neillsville.
