Ragsdale paces Rafters with Two-Hit Night to Down Green Bay, 8-6
Wisconsin Rapids, WI- George Ragsdale doubled and added his first home run of the year in the seventh inning to propel the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to their second-straight win over the Green Bay Bullfrogs, 8-6.
The two-hit night by Ragsdale comes on the heels over a breakout performance Monday evening against the Bullfrogs that included two extra-base knocks for the Virginia Cavalier. Ragsdale now has five hits against the Green Bay in just two games played this season, including four extra-base knocks.
The win improved the Rafters to 15-13 overall and moved the club two games above the .500 mark for the first time this season. The Rafters are now just one win away from tying a franchise mark for most wins in a half with 16, with seven contests remaining in the first half of the Northwoods League schedule.
