WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW) -
Wisconsin Rapids police are offering a reward to find out who vandalized several cars.
According to police, nine vehicles were hit with eggs early Thursday morning.
This happened near the intersection of Boles St. and 22nd Ave South.
One of those vehicles belongs to a 96 year old man.
"A lot of people don't realize that eggs cause quite a bit of damage on vehicles, not just the egg shells which can scratch the paint, but the actual egg material itself can damage the paint as well if it's not washed off right away," said Brian Krzykowski, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department Lieutenant.
Police are offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the vandal or vandals involved.
