For the last five days, Minnesota hockey forward Nate Condon has been training kids at a camp in Weston with his brothers Nick and Ryan.
Coming off his best season with the Gophers, the Wausau West grad is a pretty good coach too.
"It's a lot harder to coach somebody than it is to do it," Condon said. "That's always been the case for me. It's been a learning experience for me. To figure out the little things here and there that you do that maybe you don't notice but could help someone else."
This is the second year Camp Condon has been held, with a lot more kids participating in this year's edition at Greenheck Field House.
"Probably the thing that I remember most is just playing with my friends when I grew up," Condon said.
"The higher you go up, it's teams put together in hodge podges. It's not the way it was when you're growing up when you're living 18 years with your best friends and play with them."
