man Wausau Police identify as a person of interest in a woman's
disappearance was sentenced Monday in an unrelated court case.
April, in an agreement with prosecutors, 33-year old Kristopher
Torgerson pleaded no contest in Marathon County court to a charge of
battery and guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Monday he was sentenced to five years in prison and three years
extended supervision in that case.
August Wausau Police said they considered Torgerson a person of
interest in the disappearance of Stephanie Low. Low went missing from
her Wausau apartment more than two years ago.

Police also report Torgerson is not considered a suspect and has not
been charged with a crime in connection with low's disappearance.
