The Obama administration's decision to delay until 2015 a health care obligation for employers is being applauded by many in Wisconsin's business community.
A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report says company officials say they can use the extra time to understand the new law and its options.
The requirement that was postponed this week would obligate companies with at least 50 employees to provide health benefits to full-time employees next year or pay a penalty.
Westbury Bank of West Bend has about 150 employees. CEO Ray Lipman says the extra time will help bank executives navigate the complexities of complying with the law.
But companies like Strattec Security Corp. in Glendale say they've been working on compliance for the last six months, so they could've been ready by the deadline.
