Posted:

The Good News Project is preparing for a trip to the West Indies.

Toni Schmitt tells Newsline 9 they plan to take home and school supplies to the islands nations of Saint Harvey and Saint Lucia within the next 6 weeks.

The non-profit held an e-cycling program at its warehouse in Wausau, July 5th.

You can drop of old televisions, computers, microwaves or just about any electronic device with a cord.

The charge is 30 cents a pound.

Good News uses the money to fund its projects.

They also offer a H.E.LP. Closet (Health Equipment Loan Program) where you can rent equipment. A donation of $10 is suggested, but free for those who cannot afford it.
