ROTHSCHILD (WAOW) -

We have an update on a Rothschild 10-year-old's lemonade stand to help her neighbors.

Riley Bleier set up a lemonade stand and bake sale at her parent's yard sale.

She was raising money to help her neighbors. They lost their home in a fire earlier this week.

Her goal was to raise just $50, but she exceeded that raising almost $350!

Organizers say they're grateful for the community's support.

Riley Bleier's lemonade stand is much more than a summer hobby.

"I'm having a bake sale for one of my friends whose grandma's house burnt down," said Riley Bleier.

That fire happened early Tuesday morning on Leon Street in Rothschild.

Firefighters said the fire gutted the home and left a large hole in the roof.

No one was hurt, but the damage to the family's home of 40 years was extensive.

Riley wanted to help.

"She's one of my best friends and I thought it would be nice," said Riley Bleier.

She set up shop in her front yard, at her parent's yard sale.

"I wanted to do it now because then as they're shopping, when they come out or when they're shopping they can have something to eat or drink," said Riley Bleier.

"I'm very proud of her, she's a girl that does a lot of things for other people," said Riley's Mother, Jodi Bleier.

Riley's even keeping track of how much she's raised.

She wants to raise at least $50.

"I've done good, I have over $40," said Riley Bleier.

Her mother said Riley's dedication to help shows a lot of compassion.

"She's just a go-getter and she likes to do things for other people to help them out," said Jodi Bleier.

As for the fire, investigators haven't determined what caused it.

The home is set to be torn down in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, Riley just wants to do her part to help.

"It makes me feel good cause I know I'm doing something for somebody that needs it," said Riley Bleier.

Riley's lemonade stand will be open for business through Saturday.
