High temperatures and high humidity had many people in central Wisconsin finding ways to stay cool.
We found hundreds of people swimming at the Weston Aquatic Center Tuesday afternoon.
"It's too hot for me," said Dustin Radloff.
Many people we talked to said the weather is typical for a Wisconsin summer, so why not get in the pool and enjoy it?
"It's going to be one of our busiest days of the year so far," said Evan Miller, the head lifeguard at the pool.
But that's not the only way to cool off.
Several people decided to hit the shops at Wausau Center Mall to take advantage of free air conditioning.
"Because I don't have air conditioning at home. I mean, we do, but it doesn't work very well," said Jenna Lloyd of Mosinee.
And if that doesn't work, there's always ice cream. Just make sure you get to taste it before it melts.
"Sit in an air conditioned car...It melts before you get in if you're not careful," said Pat Kuehlman of Wausau.
No matter how you decide to beat the heat, plan on making the effort for at least a few more days. Forecasters predict this hot, humid weather will continue.
Cool and bright Wednesday. Light snow likely Thursday night. A storm may hit Saturday.
