UPDATE: Names of drivers killed in Waupaca Co. crash released

NEW LONDON (WAOW) The Waupaca County Sheriff's Department has released the names of two men who died Wednesday morning in a crash in the Town of Mukwa.

According to a press release, 23-year-old Dakota Wilson of New London and 43-year-old Troy Henrickson of Hortonville were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the sheriff's department, evidence at the scene indicates Wilson was driving his truck eastbound on HWY 54 when he crossed the center line and struck a westbound truck driven by Henrickson.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

investigators say neither man wore a seat belt.

The crash happened about 6:15 a.m. about five miles west of New London, closing the road for six hours.

The sheriff's department said an eastbound pickup truck driven by a New London man crossed the center line and hit a westbound truck driven by a Hortonville man.

No names were immediately released.

The drivers were alone in each vehicle and neither wore his seat belt, investigators said.
