Two teens arrested in connection with spree of vehicle break-ins

We now know the names of the teens arrested in a spree of vehicle break-ins in Stevens Point.

Police say 18 year old Mitchell Stoltz and 18 year old Ian Rosebrook were arrested shortly after midnight on Monday.

Police say the teens admitted to stealing from cars on the 600 block of union street.

A homeowner on the street saw the two trying to break into a vehicle.

That's when she reportedly yelled at them.

Police say the teens took off running.

Officers add they found them almost immediately.

"We had officers in the area right away and they were able to apprehend the suspects and take them into custody, they did have some items on them that they finally admitted that they did steal from vehicles," said Tony Babl, Sargeant with the Stevens Point police department.

Police plan to give the woman a commendation for helping solve the crime.
