UPDATE: Missing Tomahawk woman found safe


The Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Office says Lena Kriesant has been found safe. She was reported missing on Friday. Authorities say she was located late Saturday night and will be reunited with her family.


The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing 77-year-old Tomahawk woman.

Authorities say on Friday, a man reported his wife, Lena Kriesant, was missing from their home.

A witness told police Kriesant left the house around 11:00 a.m. Friday morning in a 2002 Chevy Venture van with the license plate 285 HVX.

Police say she suffers from dementia.

Authorities say her last known location was at Solon Springs in Douglas County early Saturday morning.

She's described as 5 feet tall with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Office.
