WAUSAU (WAOW) -
The cold weather didn't stop a popular cooking event in Wausau.
The "Guys Who Grill" event went on Sunday even with a little rain. It raises money for the YWCA. The event features music, some laughs, and of course, guys grilling.
Organizers say the guys have fun creating unique options every year.
"It's not a cooking competition, but guys with their grills kind of like to show each other up a little bit, so I think they spend all year coming up with what they are going to do next year,"said Ann Saris, Wausau YWCA Executive Director. "The stuff they come up with is crazy."
One of the unique options... cucumber pizza.
This is the 4th year the event has been held. Organizers say they hope to raise $10,000 for the YWCA.
