UPDATE: Lanes reopen after semi hits bridge in Portage Co.

All lanes are open after a semi hit a bridge in Portage County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the crash happened at 2:43 p.m. on I-39 near Wisconsin 66.

A Stevens Point police dispatcher told Newsline 9 a semi hit a bridge, causing the northbound lane of I-39 to be blocked, but no other vehicles were involved. No one was hurt, the dispatcher said.

Transportation officials estimated the right lane would remain closed for at least two hours.
