When Bryan Bulaga was diagnosed with an ACL tear on Monday, even Bulaga himself was shocked. He said he didn't think it was that severe, and even Mike McCarthy said the team was hopeful that he could play this season.
So Bulaga searched for a second opinion on the knee injury, and unfortunately Bulaga got the same diagnosis on Wednesday. Doctors told him he would need surgery to repair his knee.
McCarthy reiterated that Bulaga is walking around Packers facilities looking uninjured, which is what gave the team some hope that the first diagnosis could have been wrong.
Bulaga has decided to undergo surgery sometime next week.
