Unique breeds on display at central Wisconsin cat show


More than 150 unique felines were on display in Wausau Sunday.

The Central Wisconsin Cat Club hosted its 23rd annual "Purebred and Household Cat Show".

Organizers said this is their largest show ever.

Coordinators said there were 33 different breeds were on display.

People from all over the country came with their feline friends to take part.

"The cat shows have been very upbeat, it's a fun group of people that are here at the show," said Donald Finger, Central Wisconsin Cat Club President.

Organizers said the show featured judges from across the United States and Canada.

Organizers estimate more than 400 people took part.
