Dozens of dogs got to splash around in Wausau Sunday at Marathon Park.
It was all for this summer's final "Dog Gone Pool Party" at the park's splash pad.
About 100 pooches enjoyed the final event of the summer.
Organizers said it's an outdoor activity everyone can enjoy, whether you have four legs or just two.
"It's a special occasion for the dogs, it's a special event for families that keep a dog and it's also an area they can't usually get to, we also have a desperate need for the financial assistance that comes from it," said Karyn Powers, Recreation Superintendent.
Each owner paid $5 for their pooch. The money goes to help families who cannot afford pool passes.
