The Packers and their devoted fans are gearing up for the third game of the preseason.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reminds drivers heading to Lambeau Field Friday for the game that the road construction season is continuing on most major roads in the area. But fans can breathe easy. WISDOT says there shouldn't be any traffic impacts as fans go to cheer on the Packers.
Here is a list of the major roads in northeast Wisconsin most Packers fans will be traveling as they head to the game and road conditions they should be prepared for:
Drivers taking U.S. 41 in Brown County will encounter 11 foot travel lanes and reduced shoulders along a 10 mile segment of highway. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 miles per hour from just south of Scheuring Road to I-43.
The U.S. 41 southbound Mason Street exit is closed. All traffic going to Mason Street from U.S. 41 southbound must exit at the off-ramp to WIS 29.
If Packers fans plan to take WIS 29 in Brown County, the highway will have narrower shoulders due to a temporary barrier wall. This will cause traffic to slow down.
