UPDATE: Names released in Grand Rapids car-pedestrian accident


Grands Rapids Police Department officials have released the names of the two people involved in a car-pedestrian accident on Friday.

According to a press release from the Grand Rapids Police Department, 25-year-old Adam Krause of Grand Rapids was hit by a car Friday.

The release says Krause was hit on County Highway W near 56th Street South just before 5:00 p.m.

He was airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, where he is in stable condition, according to the press release. 

Police say the driver that hit Krause is 25-year-old Daniel Hanson of Grand Rapids.

They say Hanson was not injured in the crash.

No citations were issued to him.
