One person is dead after a car crashed in to a semi truck Wednesday night.
According to Clark County Sheriff's Department, the car was northbound on STH 73 as it approached a semi that was stopped in the lane of traffic. Officials say, the car was unable to stop in time, hitting the back of the truck. The driver of the car, Mara Schlief-Trampush, 24, of Greenwood was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say she was the only one in the car. The driver of the semi was not injured.
Authorities say the semi truck was stopped due to road construction.
No other information has been released. The Clark County Sheriff's department is investigating.
