TOMAHAWK (WAOW) -
Mere hints of color are popping up on trees in the Northwoods. Motorcycle riders in town for the Fall Ride took in the scenery on rural roads but the trees aren't as colorful as some would like.
Kathie Birch rode five hours from Milwaukee. "The scenery is always pretty driving up north but we were hoping to see more colors on the trees as we came up but not so much with the late start with summer," said Birch.
She said even though it's called the Fall Ride, it doesn't quite feel like fall yet without the colorful trees.
