Wisconsin Rapids police search for attempted burglary suspect


Wisconsin Rapids Police are searching for a suspect who they say broke into a home Tuesday.

Police say the attempted burglary happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday on Second Avenue. Investigators say the homeowner was there at the time and heard noise. That's when the homeowner saw the suspect rummaging through their kitchen. The suspect then ran off. Police say they are searching for the suspect, a white male described as 5'5" with long hair, a scruffy beard and wearing a camouflage jacket.
