UPDATE: Missing fisherman from Manitowoc

Posted:

PHILLIPS (WAOW) - The Price County Sheriff's Department says the fisherman whose body was recovered from a northern lake was from Manitowoc.

Divers recovered the body of 76-year-old Thomas Holler from Letourneau Lake on Thursday following an apparent drowning, Sheriff Brian Schmidt said Friday.

Holler was reported missing from a fishing trip Wednesday night, he said.

Schmidt said Holler was fishing alone and had planned to return home Wednesday.

Somehow he fell out of the boat,” the sheriff said. “We don't know how he fell in the water.”

Holler was not wearing a life jacket, Schmidt said.
