A former radio talk show host is returning to the airwaves after unsuccessfully running for a State Assembly seat.
Pat Snyder, who worked as a morning host at WSAU before running as a Republican for the legislative seat, is set to host a syndicated talk show produced by a Wausau-based broadcasting company, according to a news release from Perspektive Broadcasting LLC.
The new show, which is touted as a mix between a "light-hearted morning show" and an "in-depth discussion of the serious issues of the day," begins Monday.
"We have key stations on board across central and northern Wisconsin," said the company's principal, Matthew Bargander, in a statement. "We've also had many inquiries asking about advertising on the show."
Bargander said a list of affiliate stations will be posted online, but as of Wednesday afternoon they were not.
Snyder lost his race for the 85th State Assembly seat last year. He was defeated by Democrat Mandy Wright.
