Rap history lesson at the Marathon Co. Public Library

Rap music filled the air at the Marathon County Public Library on Wednesday.

Library officials say its an event to teach people about the origin of rap.

About a dozen people showed up to join three local music experts that held a two hour long session about the origin of rap music.  A University of Wisconsin Stevens Point student also put on a live performance.

The event is part of the "Noteworthy Series", a program held every month at the library.
