Meth seized in Tomahawk search; 3 arrested

TOMAHAWK (WAOW) – Tomahawk Police Chief Al Elvins says methamphetamine was seized during a raid on a Tomahawk home early Thursday as investigators were looking for stolen jewelry.

Elvins says three people were arrested on drug-related charges following the execution of a search warrant – a 27-year-old Tomahawk man, a 28-year-old Michigan man and an 18-year-old Merrill woman.

Detective John DePlayee said about one gram of meth was found during an unsuccessful search for suspected stolen jewelry.

The search warrant was obtained by the Merrill Police Department, DePlayee said.
