The winter-like weather didn't stop people from heading out shopping.
Shoppers in Rib Mountain tried to keep dry going in and out of stores. Almost everyone was bundled up in sweatshirts, others in heavier coats. Some people were even out buying clothes for their families to prepare for the cold.
"We actually just stocked up on groceries about two seconds ago," said Anna Kirkpatrick of Unity. "So that way we don't really have to go out and buy anymore and we just bought him and her coats and that's probably what we're going to do now is get them some more winter clothes because it is freezing out here."
Even though it was only rain today, some shoppers said they're also looking at buying sleds to prepare their families for winter.
