Stratford businessman Bob Kulp has won the special primary election for the 69th Assembly seat, according to unofficial election results.
With all 56 precincts reporting, Kulp had 44 percent of the vote in the four-way Republican race.
Marshfield attorney and city council member Alanna Feddick came in second with 25 percent.
Granton bar and grill owner Tommy Dahlen had 20 percent, followed by former Marshfield alderman Scott Noble with 12 percent.
Kulp will go on to face Democrat Kenneth Slezak in the special general election on November 19.
This seat became vacant last month when Scott Suder, the former Republican Assembly majority leader, resigned to take a new job.
