Two people were hurt in a motorcycle crash in Wood County Saturday afternoon, according to the Wood County Sheriff's Department.
Officials say around 4:00 p.m. Saturday in Cranmoor, a group of motorcycles were traveling on Highway 54 when a motorcycle began to pass the group. Police say when the motorcycle tried to pass, it struck another motorcycle in the back tire. Officials say because of that, the driver of the passing motorcycle lost control.
The driver of the passing motorcycle was flown to the hospital, according to police. They say the passenger of the motorcycle was also taken to the hospital. Police say the driver of the motorcycle that was hit was not injured.
The condition of the injured people is not known at this time and names have not yet been released. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
