MERRILL (WAOW) - A judge on Wednesday granted a prosecutor's request to delay the trial of a Merrill woman accused of nine felonies in a crash that killed two women in June 2012.
Ashley Baumann, 25, is charged with two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle in the crash that killed 33-year-old Jessica Hartwig and 31-year-old Misty Glisch.
Baumann and another woman survived the rollover crash.
Baumann's trial, scheduled for six days, was scheduled to begin with jury selection Dec. 13 but prosecutors said Wednesday that a key witness who did the blood tests was unavailable to testify during that time, according to online court records.
Lincoln County Circuit Judge Jay Tlusty postponed the trial but no new date was immediately set, court records said.
The judge set Dec. 19 for a status conference on the case.
